Building climate resilience through regenerative farming – Gerrad’s story

These short videos share the stories of three farmers in Kenya who are building their climate resilience by adopting regenerative farming solutions.

With the support of the Aga Khan Foundation, Gerrard, Peter and Ruth have started making natural pesticide and natural fertiliser using only inputs available for free on their farms.  As a result, they have experienced improvements in soil health and crop health, greater yields, better nutrition, and increased financial savings.

To learn how to make their own natural fertiliser, farmers in East Africa are invited to watch this short instructional video on Biofoliar available on The Learning Hub in English and Swahili.

To learn how to make their own natural pesticide, farmers in East Africa are invited to watch this short instructional video on Biospray available on The Learning Hub in English and Swahili.

These videos were developed by the Aga Khan Foundation. They were produced as part of the Aga Khan Foundation’s climate resilience and agriculture and food security programmes.
