Advocacy Brief : Planning, Implementing and Scaling ECD Responsive Parenting Education in Various Settings
This document is an advocacy brief aimed at putting forward recommendations from experts in the field pertinent to planning, implementing and scaling early childhood responsive parenting education in a wide range of settings. The document is in English and is designed for early years practitioners, implementing agencies, fundings agencies and policy makers. By reading this document, the readers will be able to :
- Reflect and reiterate the significance of early childhood responsive caregiving and its impact on young children and their families
- Critically appraise the role of various stakeholders in scaling responsive parenting education interventions
- Provide practical recommendations for state actors to implement parenting education in context
This advocacy brief was developed by lead authors from early childhood development parenting readiness and education program ECD PREP at the Aga Khan University in consultation with early years experts from multisectoral fields of health, education, academia, civil society organizations, government representatives and international organizations from Pakistan with a few global experts. This document is one of the initiatives of the research grant provided to the Aga Khan University for Foundations for Health and Empowerment funded by Aga Khan Foundation Canada in partnership with Global Affairs Canada.
