This free practical training is designed for people working in Early Childhood Development (ECD) who are responsible for the creation of sustainable and culturally relevant parenting programmes.

By taking this course, you will be able to:

  • Prioritise issues in children’s development
  • Define the changes you want to see in parents
  • Make decisions about how to deliver a programme
  • Start to develop strategies and content for your parenting programme

We recommend learners complete the short “Working with Parents of Young Children” training course also available for free on The Learning Hub before starting this course.

This course was produced as part of the Aga Khan Foundation’s Early Childhood Development programme.
