Pilotos do Desafio de Inovação em Nutrição AKF 2024
One in three people worldwide is malnourished. Malnutrition undermines families’ futures by impairing growth, learning, and economic potential.
In 2024, AKF launched a Global Innovation Challenge, inviting all staff to submit ideas focused on tackling global malnutrition.
From aquatic (blue) foods to novel foods to food system approaches, 6 nutrition innovations advanced to the final stage of a six-month process and received seed funding for implementation.
The videos below, from Kenya, India, Madagascar, Pakistan, and Syria, showcase creative solutions that harness the power of food to help communities adopt healthy diets using local resources.
