This toolkit brings together experiences, tools, and knowledge from the 26 European Diversity Charters. It contains several sections to help Charters in their work of mobilising and leading organisations to foster diversity and inclusion within the workplace. Originally intended for use by Diversity Charter professionals with their signatory organisations, the CIT may also be useful for diversity champions in other organisations. It contains practical tips, tools and resources to help Charters to:

• Attract signatories and support them in initial steps;
• Gather diversity and inclusion data in an efficient way and measure the impact of diversity and inclusion training;
• Engage SMEs;
• Communicate the diversity and inclusion message in the pressurised, ‘always-on’, crowded information era;
• Engage signatories to participate in collaborative activities with high visibility for the newly established European Diversity Month.
