كورس أعمال نجارة الأبواب والنوافذ قائم على كورس أعمال النجارة العامة ويهدف الى مساعدة الشباب من النجاريين في تحسين مستوى معيشتهم والحفاظ على الحرف اليدوية القديمة. بهذا الكورس يعمق المتدربون معرفتهم عن الأمن والسلامة في مهنة النجارة ويتعلمون كيفية تحديد الأنواع المختلفة من الخشب المستخدمة في صناعة النوافذ والأبواب والتعرف عليها. فضلا عن ذلك فهم يتدربون على صناعة وعمل مختلف الأنواع من الأبواب والنوافذ وكذلك التعرف على أشكال الاكسسوارات الملحقة بها وكيفية تركيب الأبواب والنوافذ. وفي نهاية الكورس يستطيع المتدربون قراءة وفهم (قائمة القطع) للنوافذ والأبواب وكيفية استخدام أساليب مختلفة للقطع لتقليل الفاقد من المواد الخام ولقطع الخشب بشكل أسرع، كما تكون لديهم الفرصة لتعلم كيفية تجميع الخشب للأبواب والنوافذ والتدرب على تطبيق ذلك بشكل عملي.

The Windows and Doors course builds on the General Carpentry course and aims to help young carpenters improve their livelihoods and preserve ancient crafts.

Learners deepen their knowledge on safety in carpentry and learn how to identify different types of wood used for making windows and doors. They learn and practice how to make different types of windows and doors, how to recognise different kinds of accessories for windows and doors, and how to install windows and doors.

By the end of this course, learners are able to read and understand “cutting lists” for windows and doors and to use different cutting techniques to reduce waste in raw materials and to cut wood faster. They also have the opportunity to learn about assemblies for doors and windows and to practice applying them.

This is a blended learning course. The video portion of the course is followed by 30 hours of practical, face-to-face training.
