Video Description

This short video describes the Aga Khan Foundation’s work in Early Childhood Development (ECD) in the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and the Mountain Societies Development Support Programme (MSDSP) bring structured early childhood development activities to children migrating with their families to high mountain pastures for four to five months every year.

This work is part of the Aga Khan Foundation’s Early Childhood Development programme.

This 20-minute video was produced by BBC World in 2008 as part of its World Challenge, a global competition sponsored by BBC World, Newsweek and Shell “aimed at finding projects or small businesses from around the world that have shown enterprise and innovation at a grass roots level.”
