These free training videos explain the Zanatany System of rice cultivation co-developed with farmers in Madagascar.

By the time they complete the video, learners will be able to:

Describe the Zantany System and its benefits.
Describe principles of the Zanatany System.
Describe the key steps involved in applying the Zanatany principles.

These training videos are available in English, French and Malagasy.

These training videos were developed by Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) and Organisation de Soutien pour le Développement Rural à Madagascar (OSDRM) with the support of Innocent Foundation.

They were produced as part of AKF’s Scaling-up, Promoting and Expanding Effortless Direct-seeding Rice permaculture (SPEEDRICE) Project under its climate resilience and regenerative farming programmes.
